Individual Treatment Planning

At Bay Recovery Centers, Inc., each individual is evaluated for their needs based on bio-psychosocial evaluations, by a team of physicians, certified addiction specialist and psychologists.

The purpose of individualizing treatment is to provide for the specific needs of each client, including chemical dependency, pain management, dual diagnostic categories and alternative sentencing requirements. Our team evaluates needs for each individual in three stages, beginning, and midlevel and during the last stage of treatment and on an ongoing basis. The goal is to restore each individual to a normal life pattern and self sufficiency. We find that our individualized treatment plans, provide the highest or the best prognosis for each client.

Patient placement criteria are a necessary but not sufficient determinant of patient-treatment matching. Once a patient is placed in our appropriate level of care, selection of the specific assessment-based modalities, eventually guided by empirically based practice guidelines, completes the individualized treatment match.

Treatment plans are available for clients once they enter into our program. The intake department will provide the initial treatment planning during the orientation into the program.

Clients with admission agreements that call for it will be given modalities such as psychotherapy, acupuncture and massage etc. Bay Recovery Centers, Inc. will make the first appointment for any modalities needed for the client along with all reasonable efforts to insure that the clients reach their necessary appointments. Clients acknowledge however that since Bay Recovery Centers, Inc. is a
bio-psychosocial model of treatment it is their responsibility to make their own appointments and arrangements to get there using the means provided by Bay Recovery Centers, Inc. Clients will be charged for all no-shows to any appointments for which they were scheduled to attend for medical and clinical services.
