This program is designed for both young and older adults who are in recovery from drug and alcohol addiction as well as those suffering from chronic pain, by preparing them to re-enter the job market while ‘living sober’. This is accomplished by highlighting your life skills and experience from the perspective of utilizing individual strengths and accomplishments combined with positive reinforcement, guidance and support.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
To establish individual goals and objectives by utilizing the following “How to” strategies:

• Choosing your profession for employment • Networking within your community
• Analyzing the job market in your community • Targeting a specific company or industry
• Identifying your skill sets and how to apply them • Preparing for your interview through role playing
• Building a functional resume • Overcoming objections while interviewing
• Navigating job boards on the internet • Conducting your interview with confidence
• Identifying and tapping into specific job market • Negotiating your salary and getting the job
