Dr. Rand helped me with my pain that I had from a colon cancer surgery, and when I came in complaining of no energy and it was detected that I had cancer again. I lived a life of stress and worry before I met Dr. Rand. He helped me more than this short note delivers and I no longer take any non-natural medication. I am pain free, cancer free and really living for the first time in my 45 years. I am in the near future going to be giving talks about my experiences and that living a life free from fear can cure All your ill's.

Without your caring ways many of these people, like myself, would have died before we really understood what it means to Really Live! The first person I spoke to was a young lady who I now think moved to Arizona. I told her over the telephone that I was in pain, had no doctor and could they help me. I almost started to cry when she told me yes, she thought Dr. Rand could help me. She did not know that just before that telephone call I was extremely depressed, (a surgeon wanted to remove my rectum). She was my flicker at the end of the tunnel, at that particular moment in my life. Some people thought I was feigning illness because I did not look like I had chronic pain. But I did and this young lady validated me and she, unbenounced, was going to facilitate a transcendence in one mans life. From that moment forward my life has improved to the point that I am now Happier than I have ever been.

“To whom it may concern,
I am writing the letter on behalf of Dr Jerry Rand. I was referred to Dr Rand by the Physicians Monitored Treatment Program of New Mexico. I had developed chronic back pain from a fall while working at a hospital. I subsequently had 2 back surgeries, but the pain never got better. I began to self perscribe pain meds. I became addicted to the pain meds and voluntarily surrendered my license while the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners reviewed my case. The Monitored treatment Program had heard about the cutting edge work Dr Rand was doing with chronic pain and addiction and referred me to him. I spent 4 weeks at Bay Recovery and had amazing results. When I got there I hobbled in using a cane. Within 10 days he had me walking on my own without use of the cane and pain level tolerable for the first time in 2 years. I have continued to improve over the last 21/2 years. I am back to work as a primary care physician full time and have resumed many physical activities which I never thought would be possible. The Medical Board has allowed me to work again with stipulations. The Monitored Treatment Program was so pleased and excited with my results that they have referred at least 3 more physicians with pain, addiction and/or sleep disorders to Dr Rand and will continue doing so as situations arise. In closing I am so grateful to Dr Rand for basically giving me back my life.

The program at Bay Recovery was intense. It required me to be weaned off these narcotics which were replaced by other drugs to support the withdraw process. I entered this program very optimistic since I learned my body was addicted to the previous medication mimicking and accelerating the pain. I was experiencing signs of depression and fatigue. The program at Bay was a success and I completed the initial detoxification phase in only two weeks. It’s important to know that because of this program I feel more alive and in control of my life.

I wanted to die, but I did not want to die, and if it had not been for Dr. Rand and his staff I would have. Instead, now while still not being totally pain free and having many health issues to deal with, my pain is manageable.
